My journey as a baker began during the Movement Control Order (MCO). My involvement with Taylor’s started in 2023 through the JomBiz Program organized by Taylor’s in collaboration with RHB Bank. Alhamdulillah, through hard work and perseverance, I was selected among the Top 30 and received funding of RM2,000. This first grant was not merely financial assistance—it opened my eyes to the vast potential of a business when it is developed with the right knowledge.
However, the path of entrepreneurship is not always smooth. Driven by the dream of expanding my production capacity, I tried my luck in the PK CIMB Taylor’s program to pursue a RM5,000 grant. At the time, my goal was very clear: I wanted to own my dream cookies cutter machine worth RM5,000 to speed up my production process.
When my application was not selected, I must admit the disappointment was profound—especially when I saw the opportunity given to participants who were not genuinely running a business, while my appeal was rejected.
Nevertheless, that disappointment did not break my spirit. Instead, it became a turning point for personal growth. I realized that failure is not the end, but a signal to keep learning and improving my weaknesses. That experience made me more committed to every program organized by Taylor’s, as I believe the true value of a business does not lie solely in funding, but in the resilience to rise again. Today, I am more focused on building the embourne® brand so that it remains relevant and competitive at a higher level.
KedaiKitalah operates as a curated marketplace, where all orders are prepared and shipped directly by individual vendors within the KUAT (Kelab Usahawan Alumni Taylor’s) ecosystem.
Each vendor is responsible for processing, packing, and arranging delivery of their products. As such, shipping timelines, methods, and fees may vary depending on the vendor, product type, and delivery location.
Estimated processing and delivery timelines will be communicated at the point of order. Customers are advised that:
• Ready stock items are typically processed within a few working days
• Made-to-order or customised items may require longer preparation time
• Bulk and corporate orders will follow agreed delivery timelines
Vendors are expected to ensure that all items are securely packaged to minimise damage during transit. Once an order has been handed over to the delivery partner, KedaiKitalah is not responsible for delays or damages caused during shipping. However, we will assist in coordinating with vendors and delivery providers where necessary.
For orders involving multiple vendors, items may be shipped separately and may arrive at different times.
Customers will be provided with tracking details where available. For urgent deliveries or special arrangements, customers are encouraged to contact us prior to placing an order.
